The palace is located in Wierzbięcin, Nowogard Commune, Goleniów County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Wierzbięcin County. It sits on a plot of 1.8083 ha.

The palace building has a built-up area of 574 m2, usable area of 1,320 m2, cubic capacity of approximately 8,000 m3.
Wierzbięcin is a village located in the western part of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, approximately 70 km from Szczecin and 6 km from Nowogard. Neighboring towns include Kulice, approximately 3 km away, and Słajsino, approximately 2.5 km away.
Wierzbięcin is located at the intersection of provincial roads no. 145 and 147 (Nowogard-Chociwel-Łobez).
The immediate area is slightly diversified, not forested, with the Dobra River.
The registered palace was built in the years 1873-1876.
The palace is located in the center of the village, within the manor complex. The palace and park complex occupies the southwestern section of the former estate and now constitutes a separate plot of land with an area of 1.8083 hectares.
The palace is situated in the middle of a park.
The plot is fenced with a metal mesh, with entry from the east – through the farm courtyard.
A park with a naturalistic landscape composition, with old deciduous trees on the edges, i.e. oaks, lindens, chestnuts, clusters of young trees – oaks, lindens and a clearing in front of the palace.
Further on in the park there is a small farm building.
This building is an impressive, post-Romantic noble residence with an eclectic architectural form.
The palace is listed in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship Register of Historic Monuments and is subject to legal conservation protection. Register of Historic Monuments No. 1124. The park is also listed in the Register of Historic Monuments No. 953.
You should strive to maintain:
– the original structure with a tower, projection, bay window,
– the forms of the historic hipped roof and the tower’s dome with a uniform covering,
– symmetrical composition of individual facades,
– elements of the original architectural decoration,
– scale of window and door openings,
– general layout of the ground floor interior.
The general technical condition of the palace can be described as poor.
The building is significantly dilapidated and in ruins. The veranda at the western gable has been demolished.
The roof was damaged, the wooden ceilings collapsed, the staircases were damaged, and the windows, doors, and furnishings were missing.
Information on the technical parameters of the palace:
The palace rests on stone or stone-and-brick foundations. The plinth is faced with crushed stone (height 140-210 cm).
– walls: peripheral walls of the body, tower, wing, projections made of ceramic bricks, with a cross-section of approx. 50-55 cm on the ground floor>
Palace plan:
It was designed on a plan roughly resembling an elongated rectangle, measuring 3510 x 1610 cm, with the front facing the park. In the center of the front wall is a distinct projection measuring 810 x 230 cm, and in the center of the gable is a square tower. At the western corner are wings measuring 850 x 350 cm, terminating in a five-sided projection.
There are three entrances to the interior of the palace: the front one, the one in the middle of the risalit and the 5-sided risalit.
The structure of the palace:
The main body of the palace is characterized by a compact shape, in the form of a lying cuboid, covered with a flattened hipped roof. The total height is 1450 cm.
Formally, the entire building is a two-story structure with a basement, originally with a usable attic. The individual floors are: basement – 270 cm, ground floor – 370 cm, first floor – 330 cm, attic 250 cm. Vertical circulation was provided by two staircases. The basement is approximately 150 cm deep and covered with a brick vault. The attic, intended for residential and utility purposes, is raised approximately 100 cm by a knee wall.
Total tower height approx. 1950 cm.
