Kopice – a village in northwestern Poland, located in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in Goleniów County, in the Stepnica Commune, on the Szczecin Lagoon, in the Lower Oder Valley, on the road connecting Stepnica with Czarnocin. Kopice is the seat of the sołectwo.
The village has an irregular layout of buildings, the main road is lined with willows. Most of the residential buildings are brick buildings from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It is rare to find buildings erected using the half-timbered technique, most of which were destroyed during the last war. A large part of the village is also modern construction – residential and recreational. The old houses have also been rebuilt to a large extent. The monuments include a brick building of a former school from the 1920s and two. . There is also a monument to the victims of World War II in the village. Kopice serves as a holiday resort. In the northern part of the village there is a housing estate of summer houses from the 1980s and 1990s. Nearby there is a clean beach and shallow waters of the reservoir, which are good for swimming and windsurfing. There is a marina by the water, which is used by young and slightly older adepts of this sport. Interesting surroundings – forest areas and meadows – are conducive to the development of cycling and hiking tourism. About 0.2 km from the village, on the shore of the reservoir, the Białodzrew Kopicki reserve was established.
